The EMPAC Local and Community Policing network recently hosted two Evidence-Based Policing masterclasses in Nottingham.
The masterclasses were both oversubscribed and feedback from the day has revealed that the event was enlightening and has encouraged police professionals to think differently about their approaches to using evidence to inform their decisions.
Delegates who attended on either 28th June 2016 or 4th July 2016 heard presentations from the College of Policing’s Nicky Miller and Leicestershire Police’s Mark Brennan.
