EMPAC is pleased to report on important new research at Nottingham Trent University on anti-social behaviour. NTU are inviting you to attend a free event on 4th March 2019 where you can get a full overview of the research.
NTU’s ESRC-funded project is seeking to answer the question: ‘who experiences anti-social behaviour (ASB) and in what context?’ The project aims to develop a better understanding of who experiences ASB and the harm caused by incidents. The project is also looking at who is more likely to report these incidents and to which agencies, satisfaction with response, likelihood of repeat and perceptions of ASB.
NTU are using national data from the Crime Survey for England and Wales as well as other existing sources of data such as the Census and the Index of Multiple Deprivation.
The project team, led by Dr Becky Thompson, are hosting a free event on 4th March 2019 at the National Justice Museum in Nottingham. The purpose of the event is to share findings from the project as well as discuss potential implications for practice.
